Sun Dec 14: AM. A 2 hour 5 min run around frozen Lake Monona and over trails in Olin Park. It was sunny and -7°.
Mon Dec 15: AM. A 60 min run on the Mendota Lakeshore Path to Picnic Pt. Darkness gave way to cloudy skies, temp of 8°. PM. A 60 min run on the Capital City Trail. It was dark and around 20°.
Tues Dec 16: AM. A 90 min run around Lake Monona. Darkness gave way to mostly cloudy skies, temp of 12°.
Wed Dec 17: AM. A 45 min run on the Capital City Trail and around Monona Bay. Warmer out, temp in the low 30s. PM. A 45 min run over residential streets and on the Capital City Trail. It was dark and 32°.
Thurs Dec 18: AM. A 60 min run on the Capital City Trail. It was dark + foggy, temp 39°.
Fri Dec 19: AM. A 30 min run on the Capital City Trail. It was dark and windy with a temp of 8°. PM. A 30 min run on the Capital City Trail. It was dark and in the mid-teens.
Sat Dec 20: AM. A 2 hour run on the Badger State Trail and over residential and city streets in Belleville. Had to take it pretty easy on the trail, as much of it was covered in snow and ice. Threw in some striders and surges in the clear spots. It was partly cloudy and in the mid 30s. PM. In New Glarus, A 40 min run over residential streets. Lots of hills. Finished with a 1600m on the (surprisingly open and free of snow/ice) track in 5:41. It was sunny, windy and around 40°.
Cut the mileage down to less than a hundred this week. Letting my batteries recharge. Or maybe I’m just getting lazy.
