Sun, Mar 15-Sat, Mar 21

Sun Mar 15: AM. (Ran 3 mins, walked 1 min) x 8, ran 6 mins. Knee was achy but remained tolerable. It was 32° and cloudy, then hailed for the last 5 mins.

Mon Mar 16 - DNR - Walked to and from work (~5 miles). Knee was good. Blizzard on the way in, partly cloudy coming back. Temp in the 20s.

Tues Mar 17: AM. Ran 5 mins, walked 1 min x 6. The knee remained very tolerable. Darkness gave way to clear skies, temp of 9°.

Wed Mar 18: AM. Physical therapy appointment. PM. Ran 5 mins, walked 1 min x 10. Knee was pain-free for the first 30ish mins, then started getting achy. Clear skies, temp in the mid 30s.

Thurs Mar 19: AM. A 33 min run on the Capital City Trail. Knee started acting up a few mins in, but remained tolerable. PM. (Ran 5 mins, walked 1 min) x 2, (ran 2 mins, walked 2 mins) x 3. Knee was bothering me. Nice out tho- 45° and sunny.

Fri Mar 20: AM. Ran 8 mins, walked 2 mins x 6. Knee was getting very irritated towards the end.

Sat Mar 21 - DNR - Gorgeous out—sunny and 70s—but didn’t do any running. Kayaked in Lake Monona.

Another week made up of mostly run-walks. I think/hope I’m trending in the right direction. My knee is better than it was a couple weeks ago, though it’s still bugging me.

I’m waiting for the day when I can run again
