Sun June 30: AM. In Dodgeville, A 65 min run on trails in the Governor Dodge State Park. It was mostly sunny and around 60°.
Mon July 1: AM. A 45 min run on the Capital City Trail and around Monona Bay. It was sunny and in the 50s. PM. A 30 min run on the Capital City Trail. It was partly cloudy and around 70°.
Tues July 2: AM. A 45 min run on the Capital City Trail and around Monona Bay. It was 61° and raining.
Wed July 3: AM. Ran ~6 miles with the pastry club over city and residential streets. It was mostly cloudy and in the 60s. PM. In Pittsville, Ran the Heart & Sole 2 mile in 10:41. Going into it, I wasn’t sure what to expect after marathoning eleven days prior, but my legs felt pretty good. I finished in a distant third (1st was 9:20, 2nd 9:21). The two who finished ahead of me kind of sucked me into going out a little fast. My first mile was around 5:10, then I came back in about 5:30. It was mostly sunny, a little humid and 78°.
Thurs July 4: AM. In Marshfield, A 30 min run in the Donnelly Business Park. It was partly sunny and in the upper 50s.
Fri July 5: AM. In Kearney, NE, A 48 min run on the Kearney Water Trail and around the Yanney Park Trail. It was sunny and around 60°. PM. In Boulder, CO, A 65 min run on Skunk Canyon Path and various trails on Green Mountain. It was sunny and 77°.
Sat July 6: AM. On the Boulder HS track, did a couple 1600s (5:58, 5:57), then ran 60 min on the Boulder Creek Path. It was sunny and 58°.
